Podcast with Thomas Bjørnsen

Thomas Bjørnsen is a PhD student at the University of Agder focusing on skeletal muscle adaptions to blood flow restricted resistance exercise. He is also a lecture at the University of Agder in Norway where he teaches on various topics within sport science including exercise physiology, neuromuscular physiology and biomechanics.

For the last 10 years, Thomas has worked with athletes mainly focusing on strength athletes and Head of Strength and Power Training at the Southern Norwegian Olympic Training Center, The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sport.

Juma Iraki

Juma Iraki is a certified Personal Trainer and holds a Bachelor degree in Nutrition Sciences. He has also completed the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition through the International Olympic Committee and is currently doing his Masters degree in Sports Nutrition at The University of Stirling.

He is the CEO of Iraki Nutrition AS and Head of Nutrition at AFPT where he lectures in Sports Nutrition. He also works as a business consultant for Proteinfabrikken in Norway and as a sports nutritionist for the National Judo Federation in Norway.
